GISUTECH 2018
Galaxy International School Uganda, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and Makerere University, held the forth International Robotics and Technology (GISUTECH) competition between 27th and 28th April 2018.
The event attracted over 70 participants from 7 countries Angola, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Ghana across the world and over 150 participants from all over Uganda, it started with a series of competitions in different categories at the school campus in Lubowa; this was followed by the STEM EXPO and Awards ceremony on Saturday 28th April 2018 at school Conference Hall.
Congratulation to our students and their supervisors that participated in the competition this year.
My students performed well and won different medals in various categories of competition.
In LEGO SUMO Category, we earned 1 Gold Medal, 10 Silver medals and 4 Bronze medals.
In LEGO LINE FOLLOWER Category, we earned 3 Gold Medals.
In SHORT MOVIE/FILM Category, we earned 2 Silver Medals and 4 Bronze medals.
In MOBILE APP COMPETITION Category, we earned 1 Silver Medal.
